Exercise Question - Sweat Suits/Wraps?

Lets start off by saying... I'm not fat... lol. Okay, i started wearin a waist wrap to try and burn fat off my stomach (I already have abs though) Now i know however that to really rip my abs i need a very strict diet... Anyway... The wrap makes me sweat alot more and intensifies my workout... I think it would help me to continue wearing it... a coach says that all those do is make you dehydrate. Does anybody know if wearing the wrap while i work out will help me in anyway?

the abs r not going to get any bigger if u use that, BUT they LOOK bigger, cuz u r dehydratated,

if u want more abs try to change the routine

No, you will just lose some water that will come right back.

Try this maybe:

Reply:The wrap does nothing but make you sweat, and maybe not even that -- it may just be holding in your sweat rather than letting it evaporate or get toweled off. Here's how it works.

Sweat is water, with a little salt and a few oils in it.

Fat is, well, fat.

Water for sweat gets to your sweat glands from your blood stream, which flows through your entire body. Wrapping one area does nothing but hold the sweat in that area; it doesn't make you burn fat from that area.

When you burn fat, you burn it evenly from throughout your body. Wrapping one area doesn't cause your body to take fat from that area first.

In short, retaining local body heat doesn't make you burn fat: exercise makes you burn fat. The wrap does nothing but keep sweat from evaporating.
