Makeup sweats off.?

My makeup looks great when I first do it and then throughout the day especially if its hot,my makeup sweats off and just looks bad. What can I do, b/c I like wearing coverup and such to cover blemishes??

You might like wearing cover up and foundation but that doesn't mean the weather will always accomodate it..





During the summer it is best to wear minimal foundation and coverup because of the fact that you are sweating more. If you are sweating you pores are open and are being clogged by everything you cake on your face.





Instead of caking more makeup on through out the day for touch ups and hiding your oilyness, take a dry paper towel and blot your face. Follow with oil blotting papers to remove any left over oil on your face. Do not continuously add makeup. This could lead to more break outs.





The best thing to do is to work on your skin. Find a good cleanser that works and eliminates your blemishes ( I use Nuetrogena Cream Wash. I put on as I go in the shower and it is the last thing I wash off). Twice a week use a a gentel scrub (I like St. Ives Apricot Firming Scrub) that will make your skin smooth and soft. Be vigilant with your skin regime. When you slack off it shows.

Reply:i know what your talking about,, you dont have to switch your foundation, keep using the same coverup you use.. when your makeup starts sweating or oil starts forming blot it with oil blotters,, you can get them from any store such as cvs rite aid from clean and clear or some other company, after you blot take either loose powder or any other dry powder and just put that all over your face,, it'll look like a fresh face with newly applied coverup.. as for mascara and eyeliner buy it all waterproof and it wont sweat off at all! :) good luck
Reply:Try spraying rose water on your face throughout the day to keep makeup put. You can also try Estee Lauder Prime FX Makeup Refresher; it works really well!
Reply:I just found the solution to this problem!! I hated when my makeup got all gross in the middle of the day, but, this foundation is fool proof. Buy Maybelline SuperStay Silky, it stays on and has a sunscreen, so, good for ur skin. As far as covering blemishes, you should use Almay Clear Complexion Concealer, because it has Salicylic Acid, so, it heals pimples at the same time as covering them.
