Oh, and my the way, 14 y.o.
I know, puberty, but still......
Okay Girl Question.... Guys, you will probably look anyways..... Dont act stupid when answering this question?
First, deodorant is not the same an antiperspirant.
There is nothing wrong with sweat, only from the smell from sweat which is caused by bacteria.
If you take two showers a day and use baby powder and you still have an odor, you can correct it with surgery on your sweat glands.

Have you tried the new Clinical Strength deodorant by Secret?
Reply:idk
you could try powder but then it might clump up
Reply:talk to a diffrent doctor over sweating is a health condition, he needs to have you examed blood tested etc, there are medications for that
Reply:Try washing under your arms with lots of soap too.. That's supposed to help and just put deodorant on a couple of times a day ?
Reply:Mitchum is for extreme sweaters. Sold in stores.
Reply:It should calm down eventually. In the meantime, try looking for dress shields, if they even still have those things. It was kinda like a panty liner for your underarms.
Reply:There is a new deoderant out called secret clinical. you could try that!
Good Luck, hope this helps
Reply:Don't worry happens to the best of us try to relax more and stay cool that will help also try "Degree" Deodorant.
Reply:well, I know there is this crystal deodorant rock that Walmart sells for close to $10, but is unscented and it is supposed to be able to dry up perspiration and absorb wetness and naturally control odor, try that- maybe it will help!!!!! good luck
Reply:Did you try spray deoderants??? I use those and they help my sweating (even tho i dont sweat a lot!) I use Secret Deoderant spray in french vanilla it helps the sweat and smells good! Good luck! :)
Reply:First, make sure what you are using is an antiperspirant. Deodorants only control the odor, do nothing for the wetness. Some people just naturally sweat more. Heavy people often sweat more. There is a new deodorant out on the market, think it is Secret that advertises that they have a prescription wetness control that you can buy over the counter now. You might want to check into it. This will probably correct itself as you mature. Good luck.
Reply:keep using the deodorant they gave you to use and use it generously.
i've also heard that baby powder lightly spread/rubbed on underarms helps. and smells good.
clothes make a big difference, maybe you should wear loose tops that give your underarms some cooling air so even when you sweat, the air will dry it out some. tanktops in white color can help hide it.
whenever you go to the bathroom you can also lightly wash with cold water and soap and mop up some of the sweat.
Reply:You probably just need to try different antipersperants (deodarent just cover up the smell not sweat).
When I hit puberty my mom bought me that crap teen spirit, yeah well that helped for a coupld months, then I had to get a womens antipersperant!!
Secret is good, or find a strong athletic one, there are good smelling men's anitpersperants try one...nobody needs to know you use men's!!
good luck
Reply:Try putting powder under your arms after your deodorant. This might work. Good luck
Reply:I use to sweat a lot too when i was your age...I never knew why...i had to wear dark colored clothes so nobody would notice...i think it has to do with your hormones. I eventually grew out of it and I am pretty normal today...I still sweat but not unless i am nervous or working out...you know the normal times a person would sweat...
i wouldn't sweat it...you will grow out of it
Reply:I didnt look !
Reply:OMG!!! There is no way that you can stop sweating but if you don't do as much sports and outside activites as you normally do then maybe that will lower your perspirant level and you will sweat less. :) But as you said it is puberty and it won't be over for awhile so try to cope. :)
Reply:hahaha.. i laugh because i have been there!!!!
It definitely gets better as you get older! :)
I would suggest --
dont wear tight shirts...
lose fitting(not baggy) tops...
try to stick with cotton...
make sure it's an antiperpirant AND deoderant...
ALSO.. try a few different brands.. some just DONT work for me!
another thing to remember...
MAKE SURE your under arms are clean and DRY before applying your deo. :)
otherwise you are just covering up the sweat and bacteria..
hope this helps!!!
and TRUST ME it gets better.. so dont feel to embarrassed... GIRLS SWEAT TOO!
Reply:it is probably puberty but if nothing else works botox injections are used for profuse sweating
Reply:I was sweating a little too. And it was embarassing. But when I tried stop eating too much salty foods or some junk foods it I can manage not too sweat there. And if you are shaving your underarm make sure that it's completely shave because sometimes those small hairs irritates the skin and just use mild deodarant.
Reply:I also suffered from that. It's not just embarassing, but MORTIFYING!!!
I have learned that it is from clogged pores under your arms. The best way to unclogg them is to not wear any deodorant or anti-perspirant for a few days, like over a weekend. And only use anti-perspirant, not a deodorant. A deodorant will only mask smells, it doesn't really do anything for perspiration. It's hard to find in the stores, the best way, I have found, is to ask the pharmacist for help.
Don't let the Dr's or anyone else tell you that it's just puberty, because that is when mine started and I was 28 before I found relief.
Good Luck!!
Reply:I seen this situation on the Tyra banks show. This girl had a sweating problem and the only way to fix it was getting shots in her under arms to help with the sweating. To find out more about it do a search on yahoo. But in the mean time I would keep towels with me and baby wipes and you might not like this Idea but I would wear rite guard guy deodorant its really strong and it last for a long time. Its has a green stripe in the middle and it smells pretty good. That's my advice to you and I hope it helps!Good luck!
Reply:There is a prescription strength antipresperant that you can use if you can get your dr. to prescribe it. ...If that doesn't help, then your doctors need to have blood work done on you because there could be a problem with your thyroid.
Good luck!
Reply:well i think u should try showering more often and using the right antipersprint deoderant. cleanliness is always the best answer beacuse the bacteria that u produce when sweating causes ur underarm to smell even worst. i use dove and it works fine. i WAS THERE at that age and i know how dificult it is for u to adjust to it. ull prob be under too much stress or just doing way too much activities. limit those things and definately get rested...ull adjust in no time. as u get older ull wont sweat as much.
Reply:I've heard of an antiperspirant called 'Mitchum' and that's supposed to be good. I've also heard that putting talcum powder on helps. I recommend Dove Original antiperspirant and deodorant because it smeels really nice. Hope this helps xXx
Reply:it's probably just the hormones doing it. It will go away soon enough. I think there might be some shots you can get to stop it.
