Cleaning men's sweat off T-shirts!!?

Hi everyone, this is such a random question (I am asking for a friend) How do you clean sweat patches off mens T-shirts?? (underarm)

Especially where the sweat has gathered over time and goen hard? Normal washing machines don't work, is there anything he can do?

How often does that young man wear his shirts before he washes them? My boys were culprits too, so this is what I did. If the sweat has gone hard (shame on him :) pre wash the shirts in a little baking soda (a full cup per load of wash) and warm water. Then use shout or Spray and wash, whichever, and retreat the areas before throwing them back in the wash with detergent and hot water. Your friend should also treat the collar of the t-shirts too in the same manner.

This and more frequent clothes washing should take care of his problem. Good luck, dear.

baking soda in warm water in the washer. DON"T TOUCH IT
Reply:its called tell your "friend" to buy a tronger antipersperant....or to wear tank tops.
Reply:Hot water, strong detergent, and 1/2 cup of bleach. My husband has the same problem, some of the shirts are hopeless but new ones treated this way shouldn't develop the hard spots, oh and tell your friend to make sure he doesn't overload the washer, this makes a HUGE difference and it's a mistake many men make.
Reply:a lot of it can depend on the mineral content of your friends water.there is a product called IRON OUT that works well for high iron/sulphur waqter.try it
Reply:try spraying them with Spray and wash, remember the comercial about ring around the colar? it's the same thing...
Reply:Assuming they're white (or light colored), try soaking them in hydrogen peroxide (can be diluted with water or not depending on how strong you need it). I've tried this on a few shirts, and it works for some but not as well for others. You may have to soak them overnight, too, depending on how bad the stains are. Test for color fastness first! For what it's worth, I've read that bleach can actually do more harm than good. Good luck!
Reply:L.O.C. by Amway pre-treat first, wash with good detergent.......tell your friend to wash the clothes more frequently
