I just started using a sweat suit.I am wearing it after 12:00 noon when it's really hot and I also run in it.Is this a good thing?
Does using a sweat suit good for losing weight??
definetly a good thing. As long as your sweating alot your burning calories. I don't know where you live but i know down here in Houston Texas the summers are HOT. I like to drink a couple cups of coffee(also makes you sweat and burn calories), throw on some sweats and go running. Just make sure to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day.

No.
Whatever water weight you lose by sweating you will recoup as soon as you drink water.
Sweat suits are used for crash diets, like wrestlers struggling to make a weight limit. They are needlessly hard on the body for little short-term benefit, and none long-term.
Reply:Wearing a sweat suit will only help you lose water weight, because you will be sweating more. This, of course, will cause a certain amount of dehydration, which you will have to make up by drinking more water.
You aren't looking to lose weight. You are looking to lose fat. The best way to do that is to increase your resting metabolism. The best way to do that is to increase your muscle mass. And the best way to do that is to do resistance training with weights at least twice a week. Hit all the major muscle groups with at least one set of 10 - 15 reps. 30 - 45 minutes tops.
Reply:First off BE CAREFUL you can become VERY dehydrated and end up in the hospital.
These suits are used by wrestlers to loose water weight. Basically so they can make their weight range.
If you use it correctly you can loose weight because it makes you sweat more but the weight will usually come back as soon as you drink water.
