INight Sweats ! How can I control them ?
I dont know your age, but that started happneing to me in my forties, night sweats usually around the week of my cycle, now that im in the second "F" word, fifties,,,,,,, they started occuring all the time. I bought a product called "Estroven" it is soy based, it seemed to lessen the frequency and duration of these annoying occurances,,,,,,at least down to one a night. I learned hot flashes in the day only happen when one is in public LOL,,,,,,,, We are just too dam sexy,,,,,,, no wonder aging women cut their hair, sick of peelin it off our necks

this should not be happening unless you are menapausal. or have an excess of hormones.
Reply:In all honesty you can't. Your Dr. can give you Hormone supplients, but that can be risky. I stopped taking Hormone supplients over a year ago. It's rough. I use a fan most nights and sleep on cotton sheets, wearing tank tops and shorts. I tried sleeping in the nude. But was uncomfortable doing so; even though I live alone.. You'll have to decide whats best for you. I choose to suffer some. MAybe one day it'll get better.
Reply:I know how you feel. I am an alternative medicine therapist and an ex nurse and i can tell you that it is normal to have these sweats. Women react differently. How old are you? If you are of menopausal age then black cohosh is helpful. If not then agnus castus and Sage is very good for controlling sweats, also evening primrose. You can get these capsules from your health shop. I also take a combination of vitamin and minerals, they are also found at the health shop. Go down and look around. They all work I am living proof. I always give my patients this advice. They take a little time to get into the system so be patient.
I take Menopace but there is also Wellwoman and a type for those who still have periods.
