I'm 12 years old, and I have had this problem for about a year.
I always sweat. I shower every day, sometimes I take 2 or even a 3 day if I have to.
I always use deoderant/antipersperant and I wash my clothes and I try to avoid sweating all the time. Iv'e tried a lot of deoderants/antipersperants but they only work for about a month and then they just stop working.
And latley I've been sweating in other areas besides armpits.....like, down there. I always smell really bad and it's really gross.
Yesterday about an hour after I took a shower and put on deoderant, I put on a t-shirt, and within 15 minutes I was sweating and you could see the wet spots pretty well and all I was doing was sitting at my desk finishing up homework.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? Please help me.
Why do I have this problem? What can I do to fix it?
I also sweat a lot and have found that the deodorant for men works much better than ours does. There are quite a few that don't smell too masculine. You can't really smell them after a few minutes anyway.
As far as down there - get one of the feminine deodorants and use it when you put on your undies. It makes a huge difference - spray a little on yourself and your undies.

Unfortunatly, no there isnt much you can do. It happens especially around your age and usually subsides after a few years. Just keep being as clean as you can and hang in there.
Reply:It's your hormones acting up. You can ask your mother to take you to an endocrinologist and see what they can do to help. Chances are that it is an easy fix.
Reply:haha..
same here.
Id reccomend scrubbing yourself really hard with axe bodyshower, in really hot water
it worked for me
Reply:my sister has this problem.. go to the doctor.. there is a prescription you can take for it.. good luck!
Reply:sOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE AN OVER ACTIVE SWEAT GLAND GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR SHE CAN HELP
i know how you feel but a simple appointment with the doc can help
good luck
Reply:try drinkin more water as sweat is mainly caused by you being too hot and sweat helps you to cool down. also cut down on your salt levels that may be the problem if this continues and you are getting worried consult your gp
Reply:I know your gonna hear this from alot of people, but see a doctor. My sister had a profusive sweat problem due to a gland problem. She was very thin, you would never even think she would have the problem but she did. They perscribed her a special kind of deodarant. As far as the sweating below goes, try some summers eve deodarant spray. See if that helps. You could also try using the summers eve wash for below. It really does make quite a difference. I really hope this helps. Good luck.
Reply:depends on your size and the temperarure in the room...if you are a bigger person with the temperature set over 70.....you will deffinatly be sweating alot
Reply:Discuss this with your mother. Ask if you could see the doctor. It is possible that your metabolism or hormones (or both) are causing this. He may be able to offer a solution.
Reply:Yes,ask you mom to talk to the doctor about this ,it could be hormones and sometimes at your age this happens.buy an antipresperant a stronge one with no dedorant and spray the areas where you sweat with a nice cologne after your bath.
Reply:you can try different deoderants/anti until you've found the right one,you can use talc powder but it leaves a white, ugly residue, you can wear an undershirt, you can apply your deoderant/anti constantly, always have deoderant/anti at school to put on,try not to wear tight clothing, try the clinical strength deo/anti from Secret and if those things dont work, consult your doctor for further info or for help.
almost everyone goes through sweating so dont sweat about it..good luck.
Reply:try dove deoderant
Reply:Hm, not sure.. Maybe you could ask your mom about it and see if you can talk to your doctor, or even go to a clinic to see if they have anything to help it. Make sure you tell your mom how much it's bothering you and how gross it is though, 'cause most parents will just say "That's puberty, live with it!"
