Do swimmers sweat?

I wonder is it happenes to swimmers. They work so hard but they are in water already so do they sweat or not?
Do swimmers sweat?
Of course. Yes, we sweat. And we swim in everyone's sweat (plus kids' pee, and everything else you could imagine). That is why there is enough clorine in a pool to kill any germs and virus'. That's why no one was in danger when Greg Luganis, having hit his head during a dive at olympic trials, bled into the water.... he had HIV at the time, and the clorine killed the virus.

and, yes, swimmers will dehydrate, so please, if you swim laps, take a bottle of water with you to keep you from passing out!
Do swimmers sweat?
Yes, but since they are in water you dont notice.
Reply:they do sweat it's just that the sweat is taking off by the water
Reply:Yes. Everybody sweats in your skin there's a gland called the Sweat Gland which makes people sweat it's just harder to notice.
Reply:Swimmers sweat quite a bit. It's not noticable since they're in the water, but if you ask competitive swimmers, thry'll tell you that they are as likely to dehydrate as any other athlete.
Reply:Yes-it goes in the water--the only way you can tell a swimmer is working is by the color of their face and their hr.
Reply:Yes, but the water acts as natural sweat, cooling the swimmer, so only if they work for a long period of time at high temperatures/intensities will it become noticeable.
Reply:Yes they do sweat in the water. That is one reason why swimmers have to be careful to remain hydrated because they don't feel like they sweat, but they still do.
Reply:yes
