Should I wear sweats when I work out?

What do you guys think about wearing a sweatshirt and sweat pants when working out? Do you think you actually burn more calories? Or is it just uncomfortable?
Should I wear sweats when I work out?
You won't burn any more calories, but you will find it easier to exercise if you wear clothing that allows you to move about comfortably. Modern sports clothing is often made of materials that draw moisture away from your body, so if you get hot and sweaty you feel cooler than you would in normal cotton or mixed fibre clothes.

If you are exercising outdoors, layering is best. That way, if you get too hot, you can just take your sweatshirt off and tie it round your waist if you are wearing a t-shirt underneath.

Finally, for any girls with boobs bigger than AA cup, a sports bra is essential. You should get this fitted properly and choose the right kind for the type of exercise you want to do - buy from a specialist sports shop or lingerie shop and get advice from the sales assistant.

You sweat more so you loose water weight...this will make the scale read less...untill you eat....so really it doesnt help. You burn more calories when ur cold though
Reply:I agree with Miss Blue. Wear something that is comfortable for you. If you wear something that is uncomfortable, you'll find that you'll be more focused on fixing it and moving it around rather than on what you're doing. Whenever I go for runs outside, I usually wear tighter fitting pants, a sports bra (ESSENTIAL!!!!), and a tank top. I'm most comfortable wearing those things rather than bulky items. However, when I rollerblade, I do prefer to wear sweat pants. Like I said, it's just what you're comfortable in. You don't burn more calories by wearing sweat pants. You might actually burn less if you're constantly adjusting them so they're more comfortable, instead of focusing on your workout.
