Cold Night Sweats??

Heyy.


I'm really concerned about this problem that I have been having for the last couple of weeks, I'd wake up in the middle of the night drenched with sweat freezing. Has this happened to anyone? what causes this? this is the first time that anything like this has happened to me. I'm not having nightmares or anything. I don't know what causes this. I'm really concerned because I read some stuff online that this can be a sign/symptom of cancer? I'm a 18 years old girl, can anyone help me or tell me more about this? I have a doctors appointment this upcoming wednesday. THANKS so much.

It usually happened when one has fever and then after the sweat, th temp becomes normal.


Maybe your room was heated more than your body liked after sleep.


The third is drop in blood pressure.


It just could be a simple cause. Have not heard contrary. My first reaction was see a Doc. that you have planned out.

you are young for most cancers, but it can be symptom of it... it could be hormonal also. perhaps your thyroid. your doc will run tests and you'll go for there. good luck.

Reply:when i went into menopause over night due to surgical removal of my female organs. you may have very low hormone levels and that may cause it.
