if you don't like sweating during sport then take up lawn bowls or darts.

Don't know which player it is - but yes she is sweating. You do realize that tennis provides a lot of exercise, running, jumping, and skill? You are going to sweat in most sports that you play.
Reply:Yeah that girls is sweating. And that's WTA player Ana Ivanovic from Serbia. Basically.. any sport you get into will get you to sweat a lot.. With tennis, there is a lot of running involved because you are covering a big area of the court and the tactics that your opponent will play. There are lots of other sports that have excessive sweating.. Running, Hockey, basketball, and badminton and even volleyball. There aren't a lot of sports that make you not sweat just because sports are so competitive and demanding that you move into a ready position and take the shot or running a marathon or something..

Personally, if you don't want to play tennis because of the excessive sweating that is not a really good reason, the only thing i can suggest to you is bring a towel when you go and play.
Reply:That is Ana Ivanovic from Belgium, a top ranked player in the WTA. Yes that is all sweat on her face. In tennis you sweat A LOT, believe me. You are constantly moving around the court non-stop which requires a lot of conditioning and footwork. If you don't like sweating, then don't take up tennis.
Reply:The girl in the pictures is Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic.

As far as sweat on her face, I wouldn't be surprised. Tennis is a physical sport that involves a lot of running, and women's matches usually last at least an hour and a half. It'll be no surprise if you see players sweating during and after matches. If you are going to take up tennis, you'll probably have to get used to this fact.
Reply:Tennis is a physically demanding sport. If you actually put your 200% into it... you'll sweat like a pig... especially if you live in a hot region. If you cannot take the excessive sweating... I do not recommend it... but sweating is actually good for you. If you are just starting to play... then you won't sweat as much because you will not be motivated to run. But I suggest that you give it a try because tennis is so much fun! I have been playing for 7 years and am a nationally ranked player.

P.S. That is Ana Ivanovic (Pro Tennis Player)
Reply:well the chicks ana ivanovic from serbia...

hey mate in which sports do the athletes dont sweat?

maybe taking up chess or some board game then u'll be fine...

and i dont understand why you should be shocked?

maybe u should try playing under the sun at bout 35-40 degrees celcius and see if you sweat...
Reply:what's wrong with sweat and sweating?
Reply:wow if you don't want to sweat then don't play tennis. You can't play any sport seriously if you are afraid of sweating.
Reply:You call THAT shocking??! You should see me when I play :P
