Night-time troubles??

I have been having trouble breathing at night, especially when I am laying kind of flat. It helps a ton if I put a few pillows under my head. I have also been getting awful night sweats. I wake up in the middle of the night and my pillows and sheets are soaked through! It's a VERY cold sweat. It's like someone dumped a bucket of cold water over my upper body. Any ideas what may be going on? I have to see my Dr. on Wednesday, but this is getting out of control! Last night was the worst night with the sweating ever!

wow. the combo of the sweats and the swollen gland are worrisome. it could be any of a number of ailments.

it is good that you are seeing a doctor. this is something you do not want to trust to a bunch of yahoos on yahoo!answers.

Reply:are ya wisdom teeth out? Perhaps its Valley Fever?
Reply:To breathe better instead of using pillows, make the head of your bed higher by placing a piece of wood under each leg of the head of the bed. Try different sizes. Too high you will slide down in the bed. It does help with breathing, I know because I have Gerd. Acid reflux. If you are on medication that could be the problem with the sweating, Call your pharmacist about reactions to meds.
