I have excessive underarm perspiration. Is there anyway I can effectively hide this?

I use deoderant, but it actually makes me sweat even more! And I have tried many brands but they all make me sweat more. So is there anything I can do (outside of deoderant) that can reduce my excessive sweating? It's really embarassing because my shirt gets all wet, even on cold days!!!!!





Also, is there any way I can hide it? Like some special cloth or something?

They actually do make pads that attach to your shirts but if the sweating is that excessive then it won't help much. You can get them rather cheap at medical and specialty supplies websites. Your best bet however would most likely be- yes I'm going to say it- Botox. They inject the Botox serum into the sweat glands and no more excessive sweating. It's relatively painless (just a few needle pricks) and quite safe if you go to an experienced surgeon. I hope this helps.

Have you tried Certain Dri? I thought nothing would work either... (developed excessive perspiration due to pregnancy and doctor said there was nothing I could do)





I went to store and bought Certain Dri, which you put on before bed each night.. and I have not had a wet shirt since! You can also get a prescription from your doctor, for something a little stronger than certain dri.





They do have little pads you can stick in your shirt.. but they have never worked for me.
Reply:i feel for you..especially since i have the same thing!! i thought that when it was cold it would go away...but nooo sometimes its even worse in cold weather!!


sometimes if you wear an undershirt, you will still sweat but it will go into the undershirt..some might seep through but only a little bit


wearing darker colors will hide most of the stains
Reply:just wear a jacket or a sweater...also...u shouldnt care wat people think about u!! all the kids in my class made fun of me wen i first came...i ignored them n now they leave me alone....
